Margit Bisztray

Margit flowed into yoga in 1994, with Bikram. She soon joined her friend Sofia Artola's classes at the Coffee Mill and has been on the mat at Shakti Yoga, Key West, since. During three years of living in Miami, Margit dedicated herself to Ashtanga, power yoga and original techniques taught by talented local teachers. A traveler, Margit always finds a home in yoga studios, and has studied with John Friend, Seane Corne, Tias Little, Shiva Rea, Elena Brower and many others whose names are not widely known, but whose teachings were deeply felt.

In 2011-2012, she completed her teacher training with Ruslan Kleytman and has attended numerous enrichment workshops with him since, as well as with his guru, Andrey Lappa. Her practice and teachings are a symphony, with a common intention of presence and grace. Done correctly, yoga is never "easy" but anyone seeking change who's willing to be challenged can do it. In this spirit, Margit's classes might take you to the edge, but there is joy and exhilaration there! She invites you to join at any level and learn how yoga can work wonders.

Rebecca Schwab-Talpas

I've been teaching and practicing yoga in the Florida Keys since 2015. I am a certified yoga instructor, RYT 200 and am currently working on achieving my RYT 500. I love to create an environment that allows you to tap into your inner and outer strength and flexibility. I practice and teach Ashtanga yoga in the tradition of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois along with many other styles of yoga. Although alignment is central to my classes, the joy of a yoga practice is that it is not taken too seriously. Smiling from the heart is where it is at!
